Avalue EMX-945GSE Mini-ITX Motherboard with Intel Navy Pier Platform

The EMX-945GSE, from Avalue Technology, is an industrial Mini-ITX form factor motherboard. The board is based on the Intel Navy Pier platform, Atom N270 processor with mobile Intel 945GSE express chipset. The Avalue EMX-945GSE supports both 48-bit LVDS and two channels of 18-bit LVDS with DVI interface for multi-display configurations. The EMX-945GSE is compatible with Win 2000 / XP / 98 / 95, Linux, and Win CE operating systems for embedded applications.

The Avalue EMX-945GSE motherboard features DDR2 SODIMM memory (up to 2GB), CPU and system monitoring, smart fan control, and watchdog timer. The motherboard is ideal for digital signage, interactive clients (kiosks, point-of-sale terminals), thin clients, digital security, residential gateways, print imaging, and commercial and industrial control.

The EMX-945GSE module includes a 32-bit graphics engine based on Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with LVDS, DVI, CRT ports to provide multiple graphic displays. The board also supports dual channel 24-bit LVDS for high-definition video transmission.

The EMX-945GSE features with PS/2 keyboard and mouse, four COM ports, two Realtek RTL8111C Gigabit LANs, one IDE connector, two SATA connectors, and six USB 2.0 ports. The board also includes Realtek ALC888 5.1-CH HD audio with interface Line-in/Line-out/Mic-in, 8-bit GPIO, and Compact Flash socket. The module includes high-bandwidth expansion slots with one Mini PCIe and one PCI slot for future add-in card upgrades.
