Quanmax QBOX-1000 Fanless Embedded Computer
The QBox-1000, from Quanmax, is a pocket-size fanless embedded computer. It has a height of only 40mm. The QBox-1000 features the ultra low power Intel Atom N270 processor 1.6GHz, DDR2 system memory up to 2GB, and Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. The QBox-1000 delivers vivid images and smooth HD video playback. The embedded computer consumes only 20 watts of power. The QBox-1000 is ideal for many low power embedded applications requiring high-end graphics and space-saving packages — such as entry-level gaming, commercial outdoor broadcasting, and POS/POI terminals.
The QBox-1000 includes one Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, audio connector, eSATA connector, and DVI-I connector for CRT and DVI output. Storage is provided by 2.5″ SATA hard drive bay or CompactFlash. Advanced network connectivity is also available with optional Wi-Fi module. The rugged, fanless aluminum case provides not only passive cooling but excellent heat dissipation for extra quiet operation.
The cableless design of the QBox-1000 enhances the system stability and makes it easy for maintenance in harsh environments. The QBox-1000 embedded platform can be WALL-mount or VESA-mount.
