Microchip MCP656X 45ns Comparators

Posted by Ken Cheung in Components on Tuesday, April 7, 2009

The MCP6561/2/4/6/7/9 (MCP656X), from Microchip, is a family of high-speed (45ns) comparators. The MCP656X features rail-to-rail input and output, low operating voltage down to 1.8V, low quiescent current, and package options with push-pull and open-drain outputs. All six members of the MCP656X family are available today. The single channel MCP6561 and MCP6566 comparators are available in 5-pin SOT-23 and SC-70 packages, for $0.37 each in 10,000 unit quantities. The dual channel MCP6562 and MCP6567 comparators are available in 8-pin SOIC and MSOP packages, for $0.51 each in 10,000-unit quantities. The quad channel MCP6564 and MCP6569 comparators are available in 14-pin SOIC and TSSOP packages, for $1.03 each in 10,000-unit quantities.
