AdaCore Introduces GNAT Pro High-Integrity Edition for MILS
AdaCore announced plans to fully support the VxWorks MILS product line for medium and high security levels of the Common Criteria: Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 4 and above. GNAT Pro High-Integrity Edition for MILS is a full-featured Ada development environment and toolchain based on the proven GNAT Pro High-Integrity Edition for DO-178B. It includes the Cert run-time library that is part of numerous safety-certified systems and which can meet Common Criteria Security Assurance Requirements equivalent to EAL 4.

Atmel Unveils Mainline Linux Kernel v2.6.27 for AT91SAM9G20 ARM MPU

MCCI, Synopsys Accelerate SuperSpeed DataPump with DesignWare IP
MCCI Corporation announced a partnership with Synopsys, a world leader in software and IP for semiconductor design and manufacturing, to help mutual customers bring SuperSpeed USB 3.0 products to market in 2009. The two companies are working together to combine MCCI’s USB 3.0 SuperSpeed DataPump for embedded devices with DesignWare IP supporting the SuperSpeed USB standard. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 addresses the need for transferring or streaming large media files.

Agilent Announces 3GPP LTE Wireless Library
Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:A) announced the world’s first fully coded bit error ratio (BER) solution for the time division duplex (TDD) version of 3GPP’s long-term evolution (LTE) standard using 2×2 and 4×4 multiple input/multiple output (MIMO) technology. This solution complements Agilent’s same capability for the frequency division duplexing (FDD) version of LTE and is expected to accelerate the development of mobile devices and base stations for the China market.

Nallatech BenONE PCI Express FPGA Accelerator Qualifies for HP ProLiant
