ADI Engineering Ocracoke Island SBC

ADI Engineering recently introduced the Ocracoke Island SBC single board computer for the Intel EP80579 integrated processors. The new SBCs enable OEMs to deploy the Intel EP80579 Integrated Processor in a wide variety of applications — such as enterprise security, communications appliances, WiMAX and Wi-Fi converged access devices, IP media servers, VoIP gateways, industrial automation, SMB and home network attached storage, and others. The Ocracoke Island SBC is available in production volumes as a low-cost single board computer. ADI also offers turnkey OEM appliances based on its new SBC.

Ocracoke Island SBC Features

  • Intel EP80579 Integrated Processor with Intel QuickAssist Technology at 1200 MHz or 600 MHz (fanless operation at 600 MHz)
  • DDR2 DIMM supports up to 4GB, up to 800 MHz, optional ECC
  • Gigabit Ethernet: Two standalone ports and 4-port managed switch, with passive failover for inline security applications
  • 802.11 a/b/g/n, WiMAX, 3G wireless expandability via dual MiniPCI slots and a PCI Express MiniCard slot
  • Trusted platform module
  • Two SATA 2.0 ports
  • Two CAN ports
  • PCI Express slots: x1 and x4
  • Four USB 2.0 host ports
  • Two RS-232 ports
  • FXS, FXO, T1, E1 expansion with High Speed Serial (HSS) mezzanine cards
  • -40 to +85C extended temperature version available in OEM quantities
