NANO-8044 Nano-ITX Embedded Board

The NANO-8044, from American Portwell Technology, is an embedded board that utilizes the Nano-ITX form factor that is based on the Intel Atom(tm) processor Z510/Z530 and the Intel System Controller Hub US15W. The 120mm x 120mm (4.72 x 4.72) NANO-8044 measures only 50% of the standard Mini-ITX. The new micro-architecture benefits a range of low-power systems and handheld mobile devices in applications such as Portable POS, Medical Healthcare, Mobile Kiosk, Mobile Gaming, and Digital Signage.

Portwell NANO-8044 Embedded System Board

The NANO-8044 is specifically designed to operate at a very low power consumption (less than 10 watts at full loading) and low heat, so it can be a truly fanless configuration and battery operated. It supports 1x gigabit Ethernet, audio, 6x USB and dual display by LVDS and SDVO connector.

The NANO-8044 is an off-the-shelf solution that can readily address today's need for applications that require a much smaller board size than the existing Mini-ITX form factors and it provides a truly fanless configuration. The new NANO-8044 is the perfect solution for any embedded application with panel display.

The NANO-8044 supports one 200-pin SO-DIMM memory slot for DDR2 SDRAM up to 1GB and comes with one IDE, one Type II CompactFlash® socket, one SD card, dual independent display by VGA and 24-bit LVDS, one gigabit Ethernet and one PCI-E expansion slot.
