ON Semiconductor Unveils AMIS-30511, AMIS-30512 Stepper Motor Designs
ON Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ONNN) has announced that the company has extended its bipolar stepper motor control family to include two new Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) versions of a motor driver capable of peak currents up to 800 milliamp (mA) and for use with an external microcontroller for added flexibility. The AMIS-30511 and AMIS-30512 eliminate the need for many external components, reducing system cost and bill of materials (BOM).
National Instruments, WisyTech Team on WiMAX Toolkit for LabVIEW
National Instruments announced its collaboration with WisyTech, a wireless systems specialty spin-off of Italy’s National Research Council and Politecnico di Milano and partnership with ATE integrator Alfautomazione, on a forthcoming WiMAX toolkit for the NI LabVIEW graphical system design platform.
