OPC Training Institute Reveals Top 20 OPC Integration Questions
The OPC Training Institute (OPCTI) has released the 20 most common OPC Technology questions asked by automation integrators. Questions on the latest list include; what are the security holes when working with OPC, will OPC work across a firewall, what is OpcEnum and why do I need it, and what is OPC self certification. These questions along with 16 others cover the vast majority of issues facing integrators today.

Rudolph Rolls Out PrecisionWoRx VX4 Probe Card Test, Analysis Tool
Rudolph Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: RTEC) announced the PrecisionWoRx[tm] VX4, the next generation of its market-leading probe card test and analysis tools. Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) introduced a 3-MHz, switch-mode battery charge management integrated circuit (IC) for portable electronics that can be charged from an adaptor or a USB port. The tiny 2 mm x 2 mm switching charger, the bq24150, significantly improves charge time, reduces power dissipation and cuts board space in half compared to typical implementation with linear chargers.
