VIA Introduces EPIA P700 Pico-ITX Board
VIA Technologies, Inc announced the VIA EPIA P700 Pico-ITX board that couples more features within a streamlined, ultra compact footprint designed for low profile systems, with extended I/O port options through two companion boards. Now featuring native S-ATA II support, Gigabit LAN, and support for GPIO, SM bus and LPC devices, the 10cm x 7.2cm VIA EPIA P700 is based on the VIA VX700 unified digital media IGP chipset and is powered by a 1GHz VIA C7 or fanless 500MHz VIA Eden ULV processor.

Vishay Debuts Hermetically Sealed VHP203 Miniature Z-Foil Resistor
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) introduced the new hermetically sealed VHP203 miniature ultra-high-precision Z-Foil resistor. The new device provides a low absolute TCR of ±0.05ppm/°C from 0°C to +60°C and ±0.2ppm/°C from -55°C to +125°C, +25°C Ref, an excellent power coefficient (“R due to self heating”) of ±5ppm at rated power, a tolerance of ±0.001% (10ppm), and a load-life stability of ±0.002% (20ppm).

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announced a new high-precision Bulk Metal® surface-mount Power Metal Strip® resistor that features an improved load-life stability of ±0.05% at +70°C for 2000 hours at rated power, an absolute TCR of ±15PPM/°C from -55°C to +125°C, +25°C Ref., and a tolerance of ±0.1%. Typical current sensing resistors offer a load-life stability of =0.5% through a 1000-hour workload.

Vishay Unveils IHLP-2020BZ-01 High Current Inductor in 2020 Case Size
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announced a new IHLP® low-profile, high-current inductor in the 2020 case size. The compact IHLP-2020BZ-01 offers a 5.18-mm by 5.49-mm footprint and ultra-low 2.0-mm profile, with a high maximum frequency and standard inductance values from 0.1µH through 10µH. With a frequency range up to 5MHz, the new IHLP inductor serves as a high-performing, space- and power-saving solution for voltage regulator module (VRM) and dc-to-dc converter applications in end products.
