GE Fanuc Introduces V7768, V7769 6U VMEbus Single Board Computers

CSR Offers Dual Microphone Option for Bluetooth Headsets
CSR has further enhanced its proprietary Clear Voice Capture (CVC) echo and noise cancellation technology with the addition of a dual microphone software feature. The dual microphone feature of CSR’s CVC software provides up to 30dB noise suppression allowing Bluetooth headset users to be heard clearly whatever the surrounding noise. Available now, the dual microphone option features in CSR’s low cost BlueVox DSP headset example design.

Strategic Test Rolls Out UF2e-3120 Waveform Digitizer PCI Express Card
Strategic Test Corp has announced the UF2e-3120 two-channel 10 MS/s 12-bit waveform digitizer PCI Express card. Signals can be recorded to the card memory of up to 2 Giga-samples or streamed at full rate to the host PC. Unique features include the options for dual-timebase sampling, synchronous digital inputs, asynchronous digital I/O and the possibility to synchronize up to 542 channels.

Fujitsu, HHI Reduce Optical Amplitude Noise with Ultra High-Speed Switch
Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd. and Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich Hertz Institut(HHI) announced the development of an ultra high-speed optical switch that uses nonlinear optical fiber to reduce optical amplitude noise, which degrades the quality of optical signals when they are transmitted. Employing this technology, suppression of optical amplitude noise using a 107 gigabit per second (Gbps) phase modulated ultra high-speed signal was successfully verified.

IEEE International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design

InfiniBand Trade Association Announces Interoperability Plugfest
The InfiniBand(SM) Trade Association (IBTA) announced its 13th Compliance and Interoperability Plugfest, taking place March 10-14 in Durham, N.H. The event provides an opportunity for InfiniBand(TM) device and cable vendors to test their products for compliance with the InfiniBand architecture specification as well as interoperability with other InfiniBand products. Testing will be hosted and conducted at the University of New Hampshire’s Interoperability Lab.

Xilinx Announces Programmable Solutions China
