Synopsys Announces DesignWare coolSRAM-1T Embedded Memory IP
Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS) and Novelics announced the expansion of Synopsys’ DesignWare® IP portfolio with the addition of an innovative SRAM-1T embedded memory IP that is implemented in bulk logic CMOS technology, requiring no additional manufacturing costs. The new silicon-proven DesignWare embedded memory IP will enable the design and manufacturing of higher performance and more power-efficient system-on-chips (SoCs).

The MathWorks Announces Release 2008a of MATLAB, Simulink
The MathWorks introduced Release 2008a (R2008a) of its MATLAB® and Simulink® product families. R2008a is the latest update to the MathWorks product line, which includes new versions of MATLAB and Simulink, along with improvements to 82 other products.
