Avnet Electronics Marketing recently announced the second generation Digital Video Surveillance Kit. The kit simplifies the design of video surveillance applications and features Ethernet networking capabilities and streaming video. Each kit includes a Central Processing Unit (CPU) baseboard, one Micron image sensor headboard, and an evaluation copy of VisualDSP++ software development tools for $670. The kit is available exclusively from Avnet.
