Korenix JetNet 5008G-P Embedded Managed Switch Board

Korenix’s JetNet 5008G-P is a Gigabit Embedded Managed Switch Board (EMSB) for industrial and extreme environments. The JetNet 5008G-P is equipped with six 10/100Base-TX ports, two Gigabit RJ-45/SFP Fiber combo ports, and one internal Gigabit RJ-45 port for system connectivity and management. The EMSB is specially designed to combine with an embedded task-specific system.

The board size is just 200mm (Width) x 140mm (Depth) x 30mm (Height), which gives flexibility and compatibility in system integration. An optional version with conformal coatings applied in thin layers onto printed circuits provides environmental and mechanical protection to significantly extend the life of the components and circuitry. It protects electronic printed circuit boards from moisture and contaminants, preventing short circuits and corrosion of conductors and solder joints. The stress relief is also provided, as is protection of the insulation resistance of the circuit board.

The Gigabit EMSB with conformal coatings can sustain 400 volts/mil, 15.8 kV/mm in dielectric strength to meet the UL 94V-0/ 94 HB flammability classification, UL 746C approval and MIL-I-46058C standard.

the JetNet 5008G-P provides abundant embedded value-added features. The layer 2 management features include multiform Ethernet ring redundancy, network control, SNMP v1/v2/v3c management, monitoring, Cisco-like CLI, port security, and notification.

The JetNet 5008G-P also provides a built-in watchdog timer to avoid undetected system damage. With the JetNet 5008G-P EMSB, engineers can easily integrate the board with existing embedded system. The JetNet 5008G-P is also equipped with dual 12-48VDC terminal block on board. With 11.5 Watts low power consumption, the embedded power supply of the system can boot up the two independent systems easily.
