Enea (Nordic Exchange/Small Cap/ENEA) recently announced that its LINX for Linux product is now freely available as an Open Source/ It includes source code, documentation, test programs, a startup guide, and program build system guide. LINX for Linux delivers transparent, reliable, high-performance interprocess communication services for complex distributed systems that employ multiple operating systems.

Cellular M2M Module Market Study
According to ABI Research, nearly 18 million cellular modules shipped into M2M applications in 2006, including telematics, telemetry, and Wireless Local Loop. ABI Research believes this number should grow to roughly 90 million in 2012. Telematics shipments are expected to increase at moderate double-digit growth rates, while both telemetry and WLL shipments should see strong growth in excess of 30% CAGR.

SEMI Mid-Year Consensus Forecast 2007
Semi recently released their Mid-Year Consensus Forecast. The SEMI Mid-Year Consensus Forecast is based on interviews conducted between late May and June 2007 with companies representing a majority of the total sales volume for the global semiconductor equipment industry. The leading manufacturers of semiconductor equipment expect 2007 to be the second largest year ever for sales.

Merchant AdvancedTCA Integrated Platforms
According to Venture Development Corporation (VDC), deployment of merchant AdvancedTCA (ATCA) integrated platforms, configured as full systems, is beginning to increase its growth and momentum. The deployment of ATCA platforms and associated growth of the market were constrained by major obstacles during 2004-2006. There were three important hurdles to overcome in order to accelerate deployment. Each has been either overcome or is far along.
