Xilinx Introduces Single-Channel LogiCORE FlexRay Controller IP
Xilinx, Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX), announced immediate availability of the industry’s first single-channel LogiCORE(TM) FlexRay(TM) controller IP, optimized for the Xilinx(R) Automotive (XA) Spartan(TM)-3 generation devices. FlexRay, a time-triggered and deterministic communication protocol from the FlexRay Consortium is quickly gaining traction in the industry as an automotive networking standard, capable of up to 10Mbps (megabits per second) baud rates. The IP Core seamlessly works with the middleware stack and drivers developed by Vector, an industry leader in automotive development tools and software components.
