Over 500 Companies Download Mentor’s Algorithmic C Datatypes
Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq: MENT) announced that more than 500 companies and organizations have downloaded its Algorithmic C(TM) (AC) datatypes. Originally announced in June 2006, AC datatypes are arbitrary-bit-width datatypes based on ANSI C++. They enable algorithm, system and hardware designers to precisely model bit-true behavior in C++ specifications while accelerating simulation speeds by 10-200x faster versus alternate datatypes.

Thales Awards Measurement Equipment Service Contract to Aeroflex
Aeroflex has announced that it has been awarded a five-year contract from Thales for the fulfilment of its second Measurement Equipment Management Service (MEMSII) programme in the UK. The objective of MEMSII is to provide Thales with the most cost-efficient way of providing fully calibrated and maintained test equipment to the exact requirements specifications of its engineers precisely when they need it. Aeroflex was previously responsible for Thales’ initial MEMSI service contract.
