Automotive Sensors Market to Grow by 10.7%
The new Strategy Analytics study, “Automotive Sensor Demand Forecast 2004 to 2013,” predicts that the market for automotive sensors will reach $11.2 billion in 2007, a year-on year growth of 10.7%, showing that planned vehicle safety, performance and feature enhancements will drive demand for automotive sensor shipments to over 3.4 billion units worth $17.1 billion.
Microchip 16-bit Embedded Control Seminar Series

TenAsys Rolls Out INtime 3.1 RTOS for Windows
TenAsys(R) Corporation announces version 3.1 of the INtime(R) real-time OS for Windows. Si2 Receives Analog Symbol Set, OpenAccess Debugger
The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) announced the first two contributions under the new Contributions Process for OpenAccess. The first is the Analog Symbol Set, which was originally transferred to Si2 from the OpenKit Initiative. The Analog Symbol Library is a collection of 66 schematic symbols of circuit primitives for analog design, represented as OpenAccess v2.2 databases. The primitives include capacitors, resistors, inductors, diodes, bipolar and MOS transistors, pads, transformers, varactors, fuses, and GND and VDD supplies. This set of symbols is used very widely across the analog design industry.
