Jetstream Media Introduces JetFx-3000 Video Effect IP Core
Jetstream Media Technologies, a provider of Silicon Intellectual Property (SIP) announced the introduction JetFx(TM)-3000, a turn-key solution, which allows the integration of fun and personalized video effects to media playback devices. JetFx-3000 consists of three components: 1) the industry’s most advanced real-time video-effect silicon IP core, engineered for resolutions up to HD quality, 2) the embedded sequencer-software, 3) an optional composer-software.

SEMI Publishes March 2007 Book-to-Bill Report
North American-based manufacturers of semiconductor equipment posted $1.42 billion in orders in March 2007 (three-month average basis) and a book-to-bill ratio of 1.00 according to the March 2007 Book-to-Bill Report published today by SEMI. A book-to-bill of 1.00 means that $100 worth of orders were received for every $100 of product billed for the month.

Mosaic Enables GPS Functionality for Mobile Instruments
The newest member of Mosaic’s Wildcard series will track your instument anywhere on the globe with a positional accuracy of less than 15 meters. This tiny 2″ by 2.5″ board connects to any of Mosaic’s controllers and single board computers, adding GPS functionality to your instrument on top of data acquisition and instrument control. Your application program can read the current latitude, longitude, altitude, speed, course heading, time, and date. In addition, the GPS Wildcard software reports position error estimates, GPS fix quality, and the number of satellites in use to enable real-time diagnostics.
