TI Frees Z-Stack ZigBee Software Stack
Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) announced the release of their industry leading ZigBee(TM) stack, Z-Stack, for free download. Z-Stack has been awarded the ZigBee Alliance golden unit status by the ZigBee test house TÃœV Rheinland and is used by thousands of ZigBee developers worldwide. Z-Stack is compliant with the ZigBee 2006 specification and supports multiple platforms including the CC2430 System-on-Chip solution for IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee and a new platform based on the CC2420 transceiver and TI’s MSP430 ultra-low-power microcontrollers (MCUs).

Microchip’s Annual Strategic Technical Exchange and Review
Microchip Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MCHP), a leading provider of microcontroller and analog semiconductors, announced it is accepting registrations for its 11th annual Worldwide MASTERs Conference at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona, with the main Conference taking place from August 8 – 11, and a Pre-Conference on August 6 and 7, 2007.

Concurrent Introduces SIMulation Workbench for Real-Time Modeling
Concurrent (NASDAQ:CCUR), a leading provider of time-critical Linux(R) operating systems and integrated software and computer solutions for mission-critical applications, announced its plans to offer SIMulation Workbench(TM), a complete software environment for developing and executing real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and man-in-the-loop (MIL) simulations. The product, to be made available early in the fourth calendar quarter 2007, will be offered on Concurrent’s iHawk(TM) high-performance, AMD(TM) and Intel(R) multiprocessor systems powered by the Red Hawk(TM) Linux(R) real-time operating system.

Agilent Enhances BSIM3 Model Extraction Package
Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) announced shipment of the enhanced BSIM3 Model Extraction Package for use with Agilent’s Integrated Circuit Characterization and Analysis Program (IC-CAP) device modeling software. The new BSIM3 package contains the same speed and efficiency featured in the newer BSIM4 and PSP extraction modules and can also reduce CMOS device model extraction times from weeks to days.

picoChip is the One for Axiom Wireless’ Phone Service Enabler
Axiom Wireless, Inc., a manufacturer of mobile broadband infrastructure announced its new “One Phone Service Enabler” product family. This complete system architecture includes the ACF-400 switch and two femtocells: the A-Pro2100 for WCDMA (HSPA) and the A-Pro3500 WiMAX. This is the first WiMAX femtocell, and the first femtocell architecture expressly designed to integrate different wireless standards, starting with these but adding more. With the One Phone Service Enabler, carriers will be able to offer in building service coverage without modifying their existing network, at lower cost, with higher reliability and more flexibility.

WinTranslator 3 Features UML Class Model Generation from C# Source Code
Excel Software began shipping WinTranslator 3.0 for generating models from source code. This major upgrade adds support for C#, a new User¹s Guide, sample projects and step-by-step tutorials. C# is a modern object-oriented language that supports component-oriented programming with fields, methods, properties and events. UML class diagrams show relationships between C# classes, interfaces, structs and their generic counterparts. WinTranslator scans C# source code to extract design information to a text file that is imported into WinA&D to automatically generate models.

BiTMICRO Licenses MoSys’ 1T-SRAM Memory Macro
MoSys, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOSY), the leading provider of high-density system-on-chip (SoC) embedded memory intellectual property (IP) solutions and BiTMICRO Networks, the leading provider of high-performance non-volatile solid-state disk and semiconductor solutions, announced that BiTMICRO has become the latest licensee of MoSys’ 1T-SRAM(R) embedded memory macro technology. Due for release in the first half of 2007, the high quality headphones utilise CSR’s BlueCore3-Multimedia’s integrated DSP and CVC (Clear Voice Capture) technology. With a tiny 7×7mm form factor, BlueCore3-Multimedia has minimum impact on the overall aesthetics of end-user products and allows for exceptionally compact Bluetooth devices.

Mistral Solutions Pvt.
