  • ICS Triplex Releases ISaGRAF 5.3 Beta for IEC 61499 Automation

  • RadioScape Launches DAB Clock Radio Subsystem
    Building on the success of its award-winning DAB/FM modules, RadioScape has announced the RSC03 clock radio subsystem.   • TSMC Offers Qualified Process Design Kit for Mentor IC Design Flow
    Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq: MENT) announced that in a joint effort with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (NYSE: TSM), TSMC is releasing foundry-qualified process design kits (Mentor-PDKs) that support Mentor’s entire custom/mixed-signal IC design flow.
  • Agilent Acquires Optical Transceiver Test Assets from PXIT
    Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:A) and PXIT Inc. announced they have signed a definitive agreement for Agilent to purchase assets of the optical transceiver test segment of PXIT. PXIT, based in Lexington, Mass., is a leading provider of cost-effective signal integrity testing solutions for broadband optical transceiver manufacturers. The transaction is subject to standard closing conditions. Financial details were not disclosed.
  • MOSAID Acquires Pseudo-Static Random Access Memory Patents
    MOSAID Technologies Incorporated (TSX: MSD) announced that it has acquired a portfolio of nine patents related to Pseudo-Static Random Access Memory (PSRAM) technology. The portfolio consists of three United States patents, three Taiwanese patents and three Korean counterpart patents. Following a due diligence review, MOSAID obtained all rights and titles to the patents for an undisclosed amount from a private company.
  • ST Prototypes Microchip for Biological Sample Preparation, Manipulation
    STMicroelectronics (NYSE), one of the world’s leading suppliers of microfluidic devices, has announced that it has designed a complete prototype device able to collect and manipulate specific biological molecules. Combined with ST’s proven laboratory-on-chip technology, ST’s research project is paving the way for the development of low-cost disposable chips that automate the quick preparation, analysis and evaluation of medical and forensic biological samples.
  • TeamF1 Receives VPNC Certification for Embedded IPsec, IKE Stack
