  • Mentor Graphics Acquires Summit Design
    Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq: MENT) today announced that it has completed an acquisition of Summit Design, a leader in ESL (Electronic System Level) design solutions. The acquisition solidifies Mentor’s lead position of the emerging ESL design space by being the first EDA company with a complete solution in all three categories of ESL tool space: Design, Synthesis and Verification. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
  • Strategic Test Creates First Windows CE 6.0 BSP for PXA270
    Strategic Test has announced the availability of the World’s first Microsoft Windows CE 6.0 BSP for the Intel/Marvell PXA270 processor. The Binary Support Package (BSP) will be offered with all new purchases of the TRITON Development Kit-3 and as an upgrade for existing customers.
  • Mercury Unveils COTS Platform for Wideband Data Links, SATCOM Processing
    Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRCY) announced the availability of its application-ready platform for wideband data links and satellite communications (WBDLS) processing, at MILCOM 2006 in Washington, DC.   • TI Debuts First Triple Video Amplifier with Integrated Filters, HV Sync
    Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE:TXN) today introduced the first video amplifier with integrated filters that is capable of handling both analog RGB signals and digital horizontal and vertical (HV) sync signals on a single chip. The new device saves up to 80 percent board space when compared to traditional amplifier solutions for video projectors, professional video, broadcast video, computer display, traditional and digital TV systems. In addition, designers benefit from improved performance and maximum flexibility via I2C programmability of all functions.
  • Aerosystems Develops Maritime Composite Training System with ARTiSAN Studio
