Microchip Technology introduced the PIC32MX3/4 family of microcontrollers. The new MCUs are available in 64/16 KB, 256/64 KB and 512/128 KB Flash/Ram configurations. The PIC32MX3/4 devices feature 28 x 10-bit ADCs and 5 UARTS, 105 DMIPS performance, serial peripherals, graphic-display, capacitive-touch, connectivity and digital audio support. The Microchip MCUs are ideal for connectivity, graphics, digital audio and general-purpose embedded control applications.
Axiomtek introduced the IMB210 ATX industrial motherboard. The IMB210 is based on the new Intel Xeon E3-1200 processor (v3 series). The board features ten USB ports (four USB 3.0, six USB 2.0), six COM ports (five RS-232, RS-232/422/485), dual Gigabit LANs ports, DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-I, HD audio, eight channels Digital I/O (4-IN and 4-OUT), and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports. The workstation-level IMB210 ATX motherboard will be available by late Q3 2013.
Avalue Technology announced the ECM-QM87 single board computer. The 3.5″ SBC supports the 4th generation Intel Core processor family and the mobile Intel QM87 Express chipset. The board features up to 8GB DDR3 1333/1600 SDRAM, RS-232, RS-232/ 422/ 485, two SATA III, Mini PCIe, six USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, 4-bit GPI, and 4-bit GPO.
IBASE Technology introduced the MI980 Mini-ITX Motherboard. The new board supports the 4th Generation Intel Core i7/i5 processors. It is based on the mobile Intel QM87 and HM86 Express chipsets. The IBASE MI980 Mini-ITX Motherboard is ideal for industrial and embedded markets that require high processing capability, but at the same time are constrained by power limits.
American Portwell Technology introduced the RUBY-D716VG2AR ATX industrial motherboard. The RUBY-D716VG2AR features the 4th generation Intel Core processor, Intel Q87 chipset, 12 USB ports (four USB 3.0 ports and eight USB 2.0 ports), four long DIMM memory slots for DDR3 SDRAM (up to 32GB), six COM ports (optional up to 10 COM ports), and one CFEX slot. The motherboard is ideal for industrial automation, control, gaming, medical/healthcare and military.
Kontron introduced the KTQ87/mITX embedded Mini-ITX motherboard. The KTQ87/mITX features the fourth generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processors and the Intel Embedded Q87 chipset. The new Kontron embedded Mini-ITX motherboard KTQ87/mITX is available now in EFT quantities. Series production is scheduled to start in Q3 2013. The board is ideal for industrial automation, medical, gaming and digital signage.
American Portwell Technology introduced the WADE-8015 Mini-ITX form factor embedded system board. The WADE-8015 features the Intel Q87 chipset and the 4th generation Intel Core processors (formerly codenamed Haswell). The module includes an LGA1150 socket, two-channel DDR3 long DIMM sockets and PCI Express Gen 3. The motherboard is ideal for retail, military, medical, industrial automation and digital security surveillance.
Innovative Integration introduced the FMC-250 high speed digitizing and signal generation FMC I/O module. The FMC-250 features two 250SPS A/D channels and two 1200 MSPS D/A channels supported by sample clock and triggering features. It includes two 16-bit 250 MSPS A/Ds, plus a dual channel, 1200 MSPS update rate DAC. The module is ideal for high speed digitizing, signal generation for wireless transceivers, pulse generation, medical imaging and precision recording/playback applications.
Lanner Electronics introduced the LEC-7950 and LEC-2280 industrial computers. The LEC-7950 includes either the 2nd Gen Intel Core i3-2310E or Celeron 847E. The LEC-2280 features a 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 processor. The new embedded systems are compatible with Microsoft operating systems from Windows XP to Windows 7 and Linux.
Axiomtek introduced the fanless tBOX321-870-FL embedded system. The embedded computer includes an Intel Core i7-3517UE (up to 2.8 GHz) or Intel Core i3-3217UE (1.6 GHz) processor. The EN50155/EN50121 certified tBOX321-870-FL will be available at the end of June. The new embedded PC box is ideal for mobility control unit, passenger information system, and video surveillance.
