Winwap Technologies is specialized in software technologies for Mobile Internet browsing (WAP) and Multimedia Messaging (MMS). The product portfolio includes the popular WinWAP browser for Windows and Pocket PC, the Multimedia Messaging (MMS) Client and software development kits for WAP browsing, WAP connectivity and Multimedia Messaging.

Winwap Technologies is a privately owned company that was founded by the current CEO, Mikael Krogius, in 1995. The company was renamed to Winwap Technologies Oy in 2004 to better reflect the core competence of the company. Since the first days of operation Winwap Technologies has been involved in telecommunications, being the local distributor for the world's most popular Bulletin Board System (BBS) software called PC Board before the dial-up BBS days were over. Over the years software for logistics and freight forwarding was developed and in 1999 the mobile Internet market was entered with the WinWAP browser. Today the main focus is on the mobile Internet browsing and Multimedia Messaging technologies.
