DILOGIC d.o.o. was founded in 1994 as a hardware/firmware design and consulting company. Over the years, DILOGIC have seen amazing advance in component complexity, miniaturization and design tools. One of their tasks is to keep pace with these advances so their designs will result in products that are competetive in both design and price. They are extensively using PLDs and FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) to simplify otherwise complex hardware designs and to increase reliability of sensitive ones. They use devices and tools from one of the leaders in that area - ALTERA.
And when it comes to the CPU - DILOGIC have the policy to select device that best fits user's application. So, they are not limited to certain family or device. They've been working (and have the tools for) Z-80, 8048, 8051, 80196, MC6800, MC6802, HC11, ST6, PIC family, MC68332, ARM7TDMI, AVR family, TMS320C3x, ADSP-217x, ADSP-218x etc.
If necessary, firmware is designed in both C and assembly using RTOS.
