CATS CO., LTD. is the first CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) tool vendor for the embedded systems in Japan. C.A.T.S. introduced ZIPC on 1990, with its patented technology 'extended state transition matrix'. Since then, CATS has grown up with the voice of customers.

We can say that the history of evolution of human beings as well as civilization is synchronized with the history of evolution of tools. Wonderful products incorporated with microcomputer are born in the market one after another. They realized lots of wonderful functions. The importance of software is growing at a fast pace that the quality of the software determines the value of the product itself. On the other hand, software development tools for embedded systems available for software engineers were few and not of good quality.

By developing and enhancing CASE tools for the embedded systems, CATS will be a long-term partner for software developers.
