AG Electronics was founded in 1988 as a specialist developer of products for high performance embedded computing, with a strong technical bias. A pioneer in the field of transputer technology, the company later diversified its operations to include design and manufacture of board level products based on the Intel i860 vector processor, Texas Instruments TMS320C40 DSP and IBM/Motorola PowerPC. In 1999 we embarked on an ambitious program of expansion and investment: we've already opened new sites for expanded development and manufacturing operations; our R & D budget has tripled, and we are bringing forward exciting new designs based on the latest technologies. Today, the company works with partners, distributors and third parties to deliver COTS and custom solutions to the most demanding applications.
