The Business Case for Action Based Testing

A well-designed test automation scheme has been proven to reduce testing costs by significantly decreasing the time and expense required to execute tests. LogiGear's Action-Based Testing (ABT) methodology improves on traditional test automation techniques by enabling non-automation experts to create automated tests, by decreasing the amount of automation scripting required, and by significantly reducing the amount of work necessary to update tests after a revision of the application under test.

This paper will examine the cost savings when using traditional test automation rather than manual testing, and then illustrate how using the ABT methodology can result in even more cost savings.
