TTP in Commercial Application - Today and Tomorrow

Fault-tolerant bus systems will – sooner or later – replace the hydraulic-mechanic components used for braking and steering in automobiles today. Advantages are less weight, higher safety, simpler maintenance, and reduced costs. Those advantages have already led to the commercial application of the TTP technology in several industries – the automotive industry is about to follow. This article summarizes the current state concerning the Time-Triggered Protocol (TTP®).
