Reducing Special Circuit Trouble Tickets

While much fanfare and attention has been given to advanced, high-speed data communications services, often it is the less glamorous, individual Special Service Circuits that can be a source of chronic headaches for the telecom service manager. Missed due dates, repeat troubles, chronic faults and bursts of trouble tickets related to services ported over channel banks, digital loop carrier systems, digital channel services and extension services may have a common point of trouble that is often overlooked. Close attention to how Composite Clock (sometimes called DDS clocking) is established and managed in your office(s) can improve overall performance and reduce customer trouble tickets.
