The Applied Computing Platform Providers (ACPP) program was established by Intel to meet the demands of the connected, high performance, dedicated application information systems for business on the internet/intranet market. Traits that are typical of the applied computing market segment are that they are connected via corporate networks, wireless or satellite to enhance information systems. The availability of affordable high performance processing and connectivity technology enables more intelligence, more utility and more market potential for these traditionally embedded applications.
