Texas Instruments 1 GHz DSP
Review a demo and see first-hand that Texas Instruments has achieved 1 GHz DSP technology running. This demo will be presented by Todd Hiers, C6000 DSP Applications Engineer. As the world's fastest DSP, the 1 GHz DSP will fuel next-generation improvements and innovations in artificial vision, wireless home media centers, streaming media infrastructure and content delivery and other real-time applications. With this development, designers will be able to create a whole new realm of future applications including commercial and consumer products, which will build on TI's last 20 years of signal processing innovation. The 1 GHz DSP samples will be available in the first half of 2004 using the latest 90-nanometer process technology.
