aveLink UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) Software Suite contains an SDK along with other products. The aveLink UPnP SDK is modularized into two sub kits, which are independent of each other. They are Device SDK and Control Point SDK. It helps the application developers to develop UPnP devices and control points quickly. The SDK is developed in Java. The SDK contains the APIs (Application Programming Interface), which expose different layers of the UPnP protocol stack. The UPnP SDK API abstracts the details of the core UPnP protocols away from the control point or service application and gives applications access to the functionality in a unified interface. The developers don't have to concern about the details of SSDP, GENA and SOAP protocols in their code. The SDK enables all facets of UPnP, namely Discovery, Description, Control, Eventing, Presentation.The aveLink UPnP SDK is available for J2SE, J2EE and J2ME.
