Apogee's highly optimizing compilers have been specifically designed to facilitate effective development of high performance C/C++ and JavaTM applications for a wide range of embedded systems, C/C++ and FORTRAN applications for Solaris, and C/C++ applications for HP-UX platforms. Presently targeted at PowerPC, MIPS, and ST Microelectronics' ST2J embedded processors running popular RTOSs, and at SPARC/Solaris and PA-RISC/HP-UX platforms, the compilers provide a rich selection of compile options, unparalleled features, and exceptional run-time performance of generated code. And, considering all the optimizations the compilers do, they are suprisingly fast at compile time.
