TM-Altera® synthesis tool, the MAX+PLUS II BASELINE software provides a complete solution for customers targeting low to mid-density FPGAs and CPLDs. The MAX+PLUS II BASELINE software version 10.2 includes the PALACE
TM automated physical re-synthesis solution developed by Aplus Design Technologies (ADT) targeted at Altera's leading MAX® 7000 and MAX 3000 CPLD product families. The PALACE software optimally compiles designs using pin and timing constraints and advanced physical re-synthesis algorithms to improve performance and fitting results. The ADT PALACE compiler push-button design flow offers up to 30-50% fMAX performance improvements. PALACE software also improves fitting performance with pin assignments locked down. The user can select ADT PALACE Compiler from the MAX+PLUS II BASELINE Interfaces menu to enable the PALACE software.
