Lockheed Martin Honors Concurrent with STAR Supplier Award

3/17/2006 - Concurrent (NASDAQ: CCUR), a leading provider of time-critical Linux operating systems and integrated computer solutions for mission-critical applications, announced it will be awarded the Lockheed Martin STAR Supplier Award this week for years of performance as a top supplier to Lockheed. The award recognizes Concurrent’s achievements in meeting some of the most stringent quality and delivery criteria in the aerospace and defense industry.

"We are honored to have received this award from Lockheed Martin," Concurrent’s CEO Gary Trimm said. "The STAR Award showcases supplier excellence, and it demonstrates Concurrent’s ability to provide its customers with not only high-caliber products in a timely manner, but also a level of customer service that is almost unparalleled in the industry."

The goal of the STAR Supplier Program, which was introduced in 1999, is to enable Lockheed Martin to recognize its top performing suppliers. Lockheed Martin’s STAR Supplier Performance criteria include on-time delivery, quality, affordability, technical competency and responsiveness. Concurrent achieved outstanding performance rankings for all products provided to Lockheed Martin.

Concurrent has steadily provided Lockheed Martin with computing solutions for aerospace and defense initiatives for over 30 years. Most recently, Lockheed Martin selected Concurrent’s commercial-off-the-shelf RedHawk real-time Linux operating system for use in both the U.S. Navy’s Aegis Open Architecture (AOA) CR2 and the U.S. Army’s Theater High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) programs.
