SIDSA Launches Lyra Triple Play Platform for Web, Telephony, TV Services

3/6/2006 - At the CabSat fair in Dubai, the company is announcing the formal launch of its own integrated platform with Internet, telephony and TV services.

SIDSA, the international provider of digital TV, IP TV, Mobile TV and broadband solutions, products and services, is launching a triple play platform, called Lyra, able to support Live IP TV and Video on Demand services, Internet and telephony.

Lyra is an integrated solution ideal for those common places where a network is shared, from business corporations, residential places, hotels, to hospitals, among others. It is a highly competitive platform that distributes the triple play at a very low cost.

The TV service is provided by Ether TV, a SIDSA’s professional IP Gateway that converts DVB TV signals (from satellite, cable, terrestrial or ASI) into the Ethernet, allowing the distribution of hundreds of digital TV channels over Ethernet Networks (to PCs or TVs, with IP STBs) with an unlimited capacity.

With this international launch, SIDSA fully breaks into the triple play market with an alternative platform to be shown at the CabSat fair, between March 7th and 9th at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
