IBASE Introduces MB877 Mini-ITX Motherboard with ATi RS400 Chipset

2/27/2006 - IBASE Technology, the current leader in Mini-ITX motherboard solutions, announced the MB877 motherboard based on the ATi RS400 chipset (also known as The Radeon Xpress 200). Supporting FSB 800MHz and Intel® LGA775 socket, this Mini-ITX motherboard offers powerful and rich integrated graphics and reliable performance. MB877 provides a highly flexible and scalable solution, targeting applications such as gaming, POS, medical, terminals and industrial automation.


Paired with the ULi M1573 south bridge, the MB877 provides an integrated two-port SATA RAID controller. Furthermore, the mainboard comes with an onboard PCI Express Gigabit LAN, four USB 2.0 ports and four serial ports, for fast networking and peripheral connections. In addition to these, MB877 also maintains features that are critical for industrial applications such as four serial ports, Watchdog Timer, 32-bit PCI expansion and digital I/O.
