IEE Automotive Electronics Conference to Feature pure::variants

2/15/2006 - The 2nd IEE Automotive Electronics Conference will take place on March 20th- 21st 2006 at The IEE in Savoy Place, London, England.

The conference programme will address the key technologies of the automotive industry’s future through four themed tracks:

  • Automotive Software and Systems
  • The Future of Road Transport
  • Electronic and Powertrain Control Architectures
  • Vehicle Highway Communications

Software Acumen will be participating in a conference exhibition which will showcase the leading tools and technologies available to automotive engineers and software developers including the pure::variants toolset.

Mark Dalgarno of Software Acumen said, "Jens Weiland of DaimlerChrysler Research has been invited to speak about his experiences using pure::variants with Matlab/Simulink. His presentation will bring the use of variant management to a much wider audience. We will also have Danilo Beuche of pure-systems - the developers of pure::variants - on-hand to talk about migrating legacy systems to Software Product Lines so this is a great opportunity to come and see pure::variants in action and to find out about Software Product Lines and how they could be adopted in your development organisation."

Software Acumen is the UK’s only specialist provider of tools and services to organizations developing Software Product Lines – like assembly lines but for software. The company distributes pure::variants in the UK and Ireland on behalf of pure::systems GmbH.
