1/23/2006 - Taiwan Commate Computer Inc.(COMMELL), the worldwide leader of Single Board Computers, releases its ETX module, the EE-260 that is based on VIA 'Luke' CoreFusion Processing Platform, it integrates the latest VIA Eden-N processor with the VIA CN400 North Bridge in a single, low power and high performance package. The 'Luke' platform features a 2D/3D AGP8X graphics core with integrated MPEG-2 decoding and MPEG-4 acceleration for smooth video playback, also features support for mothion compensation and DuoView for latest multiple format flat panel display devices, the EE-260 can support up to 2GB high bandwidth DDR 333/400 SDRAM with one DDR SODIMM socket.
The EE-260 ETX module comes with floppy, 2 x RS232, 1 x Printer port, UltraATA 33/66/100 EIDE, 2 x SATA ports to support RAID 0 & RAID 1, Networking is provided by VIA 6103 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN. 4 x USB2.0 ports for 40X faster data transfer rate and backward compatible to support USB 1.0 devices and AC97 3D Audio are also integrated. Additional features include 24-bit dual channel LVDS interface, 8-bit programmable I/O, and 256-level programmable watchdog timer.
The EE-260 ETX module measures 114mm x 95mm and offers the fastest time-to-market solution for OEM customers, which also benefits for well RMA delivery cost with minimized space and easy to upgrade the old ETX module computing systems.
