IBASE Rolls Out ET810 Intel 915GM COM Express (Type 2) CPU Module

9/13/2005 - IBASE, a leading embedded computing manufacturer, has released a CPU module based on COM Express (Type 2), the new PICMG (PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group) standard for PCI ExpressTM in Computer-on-Modules (COMs). Designed to meet the demands of time-to-market and small form factor platforms, the ET810 COM Express module is based on the Intel® 915GM Express chipset.

The ET810 is a 90mm by 125mm module that uses the Intel® 915GM Express chipset and supports Intel® Pentium® M / Celeron® M processors with speeds up to 2.0GHz. The module can accommodate up to 1GB of DDR2 DRAM and has advanced graphics capabilities based on the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900 that supports CRT display and dual channel LVDS interface.

  • Up to 2.0GHz CPU speed, 400MHz/533MHz FSB
  • Supports a total of four x1 PCI-E, one x16 PCI-E and four PCI
  • DDR2 SO-DIMM x1, Max. 1GB memory
  • ICH6M Integrated 10/100 BaseT Ethernet
  • Intel® 915GM Integrated VGA; Supports CRT / LVDS
  • CPU temperature detection

Also available is the IP400 COM Express baseboard with interfaces for audio, USB ports, IDE, CRT VGA, LVDS, TV out, 10/100 LAN. The baseboard also features digital I/O, watchdog timer, a secondary super I/O, Gigabit LAN controller and expansion slots including one x16 PCI-E, one x1 PCI-E and two PCI slots.
