Helping Hand Delivers Platform for Hosting Embedded, Ethernet Systems

8/25/2005 - Helping Hand Software Ltd, a UK based developer of a TCP/IP protocol stack for 8-bit microcontrollers, has released a hardware platform for the hosting of embedded, Ethernet-enabled systems.

Combining an 8051-type microcontroller with a 10baseT Ethernet controller, it has sufficient memory resources to host a TCP/IP stack and an application.

The platform has on-board magnetics for the Ethernet port, plus a RS-232 port and an 8-bit digital I/0 port, thus providing a complete hardware solution for either development or small volume projects.

The hardware is proven and tested, from deployment in Helping Hand Software's own embedded web server. Full product details, including a datasheet, are available at www.hahs.co.uk/EmbeddedEthernetPlatform.htm
