TI, HPL Address Characterization and Yield Issues for 65nm Processes

5/27/2005 - Texas Instruments and HPL Technologies, Inc. (OTC:HPLA.PK) will present a co-authored paper titled, "Infrastructure for Successful BEOL Characterization and Yield Ramp at the 65nm Node and Below", at the 2005 International Interconnect Technology Conference (IITC).

To be presented at 1:00pm on Monday, June 6, the paper will describe a back-end-of-line (BEOL) technology-development read-only memory (TDROM) that was used to accelerate understanding of yield issues at the 65nm manufacturing process technology level. The technique works because the TDROM is an addressable technology, allowing fab operators to isolate the failed devices to within 2 micron2 using known memory testing techniques.
