Giga Scale IC's InCyte Enables Early Chip Estimation for Accent

5/5/2005 - Accent Srl and Giga Scale Integration Corporation (Giga Scale IC) announced that Accent has chosen Giga Scale IC’s InCyte software tool for its early silicon chip estimation and architectural exploration needs, and also that Giga Scale IC has joined Accent’s “Highway to Silicon” Alliance Programme.

InCyte allows users to estimate IC cost, yield, die size, power and leakage to within five to ten percent accuracy of final silicon, as well as to make architectural and economic comparisons and tradeoffs across various technology nodes, process variants and Intellectual Property (IP) options. The tool has proved effective at reducing total IC cost and minimising the duration of the design cycle.
