4/25/2005 - Taiwan Commate Computer Inc.(COMMELL), the worldwide leader of Industrial Mini-ITX mainboard, introduced the world`s first mobile Mini-ITXexpress motherboard LV-673 with the Intel Centrino mobile technology 915GM Express chipset, which is the first mobile Mini-ITX platform to offer PCI Express bus architecture.
COMMELL's LV-673 Mini-ITXexpress mainboard supports for 533MHz Front Side Bus to up to 33% increase in Front Side Bus bandwidth over the previous generation and support for dual channel DDR2 400/533 MHz up to 2GB memory. Integrated 32-bit 3D core engine, based on Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900(Intel GMA 900) architecture, operates at core speeds of up to 320MHz, delivers a 2 times improvement in graphics performance over the previous generation chipset (855GME), The integrated display controller comes with Dual independent pipe for dual independent display and Single- or Dual-channel LVDS panel support up to WUXGA panel resolution.
The LV-673 comes with floppy, PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse, 4 x RS232C, UltraATA 133 EIDE and IrDA interface on-board, Networking is provided by Dual Marvell 8053 PCI-Express Giga LAN, 6 x USB2.0 ports for 40X faster data transfer rate and backward compatible to support USB 1.0 devices. It offers support for Intel High Definition Audio enables increased bandwidth for high quality audio and support for Dolby Technology. Also integrated. A Mini-PCI slot uses Mini-PCI add-on card for easily using any wireless card or other add-on cards. Additionally, LV-673 is also equipped with PCMCIA and CompactFalsh Interface for easily using any communication and memory card.
Mini-ITXexpress is based on Mini-ITX , but equipped with the PCI Express bus add-in card connector, Giga LAN, USB 2.0 and SerialATA for highspeed drives.
