4/6/2005 - HARDI Electronics, a leader in Rapid ASIC Prototyping Platforms, announced that due to increased interest and demand in its HAPS system, it has added three sales representatives in the United States. The new reps will cover northern and southern California, Arizona and New Mexico. Mission Technology is the company’s exclusive sales representative in Southern California, Exis will be the exclusive rep in northern California, and Reptronix will be exclusive to the Arizona and New Mexico territories.
“Our recently announced HAPS-20 Rapid ASIC Prototyping Platform, with best-in-class flexibility, I/O connectivity, and speed are already being used by several Fortune 100 companies in North America, as well as industry leaders around the world,” said Lars-Eric Lundgren, chief executive officer of HARDI. “With the addition of these representatives we can help many more customers with the verification cycle of their ASIC designs.”
“We believe nothing else on the market has the I/O connectivity and Lego-like flexibility that our customers require for ASIC Prototyping,” said Ed Wahlroos, president of Mission Technology. “Customers can snap together a prototype with known proven hardware in a matter of days. This is far superior to internal prototyping efforts,” added Art Scarla, president of Reptronix. “We have seen tremendous interest in the HAPS boards already.
