Ramtron Appoints New South Korean Sales Manager for FRAM Products

3/3/2005 - U.S. semiconductor maker Ramtron International Corporation (Nasdaq: RMTR) announced the appointment of Mr. Hee-Jun Lee as South Korean sales manager. Lee is responsible for the sales and promotion of Ramtron's FRAM products throughout South Korea. The position reports directly to the director of Asia Pacific Sales for Ramtron, Alex Tsui, and is responsible for building and leading the company's South Korean sales network of representatives and distributors.

“South Korean FRAM sales increased by 78% in 2004 over 2003, making it one of our fastest growing regions in Asia Pacific,” commented Alex Tsui. “With Mr. Lee’s previous experience in selling and marketing Ramtron products at Quvicom, a Ramtron distributor, we plan to hit the ground running in this very promising market.”

Lee joins Ramtron with over five years of senior sales and marketing experience in the semiconductor distribution business. Most recently, he was sales director of semiconductors at Quvicom Inc. in South Korea, where he was responsible for the technical marketing and applications of Ramtron products for DTV (digital television), Home Gateway, DVR (digital video recorder), and mobile video terminal business opportunities. Prior to that, he worked for more than 10 years in both software and hardware product development positions at Fuji-Xerox Information Systems, Korea and LGEDS, a joint venture formed by LG and EDS to provide IT solutions.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Kangwon National University, South Korea.
