ZMD Expands in North America and Asia with Future Electronics

3/2/2005 - ZMD AG is counting on a new partnership with the distributor Future Electronics Inc. to extend its market position in North America and Asia. The Canadian company, Future Electronics, is the third largest distributor of electronic components in the world. Substantial promotional measures are being planned in the US and Asia, within the scope of a long-term contract, for the distribution of application specific standard products (ASSPs).

"We have agreed upon a very close cooperation with Future Electronics. This includes the intensive transfer of know-how between ZMD engineers and Future's distribution team in the North America and Asia", explains Thilo von Selchow, ZMD's CEO. He adds: "We can now sell ZMD products in around 80 countries in the world."
