2/16/2005 - HPL Technologies, Inc. (OTC:HPLA.PK) will present an invited paper on design-for-manufacturing (DFM) at the upcoming SPIE conference on Friday, March 4th. The paper is titled, "Building infrastructure for parametric yield analysis: concept and implementation of a DFM platform", and is co-authored with Sequoia Design Systems.
HPL technical staff are also co-authors of another invited paper on yield optimization and two poster presentations on DFM and yield topics. The papers and delivery dates are as follows:

1) Invited paper: "Design process optimization, virtual prototyping of manufacturing and foundry-portable design for manufacturing (DFM)". This paper is co-authored with Telos Venture Partners and Cypress Semiconductor Corporation.
2) "Device and lithography contextual mask rule generation." This paper is co-authored with Photronics Inc.
3) "Design Impact: an innovative approach to parametric yield improvement". This paper is co-authored with Advanced Micro Devices and Sequoia Design Systems, Inc.
