Banner Software Releases ER/DataGen for Generating Test Data

12/16/2005 - Banner Software Inc. (BSI) announces the release of ER/DataGen — providing Allfusion ERwin and ER/Studio users a seamless interface in producing "model-driven" test data.

"BSI has had a strong presence in the test data generation market with our flagship test data generator Datatect for a number of years," states Harris Herman, president of Banner Software. "Now with the introduction of ER/DataGen we have targeted the thousands of ERwin and ER/Studio users still searching for a seamless solution in generating the 'model-driven' test data needed to certify the application. ER/DataGen provides a GUI that is easy for the database designers to understand such as entity names and a display of parent-child relationship. It also calculates the optimal test data value for every column in order to maintain the efficiency and accuracy of an input operation. These are but a few features of ER/DataGen designers will now have available to them. We would look forward to your download of a trial of ER/DataGen and see for yourself the power of 'Model driven' test data."

ER/DataGen can generate test data with near infinite diversity for system testing as well as comprehensive testing, ER/DataGen eliminates any need to use real data. Seamlessly interfaced and collaborating with ER/Studio and Allfusion ERwin database modeling tools ER/DataGen will generate realistic test data that maintains consistency with your design specifications. ER/DataGen offers a number of other features that will greatly assist in solving your test data generation needs.

A fully operational demo is available for download at www.bannersoftware.net

Note: Allfusion Erwin and ER/Studio (enterprise editions) must also be installed for ER/DataGen to function.
