AMD's near manufacture-ready reference design kit is a compact, low-power, high-performance system designed to help facilitate the next generation of single board computer and network appliances. Target application markets include single board computer, point-of-sale, corporate thin client, network appliances and kiosks.
Embedded BIOS 2000, with Firmbase® Technology, provides maximum configurability with high-level firmware tools and full source code. With modular architecture, custom adaptations of the BIOS can be made with ease, speed and power. Designers using the AMD Geode GX SBC reference design kit can obtain a reference binary ready to install and evaluate.
